New York University
I did my PhD in the Computer Science and Enginnering department at NYU Tandon. I worked at the NYU Game Innovation Lab and my thesis discuss the design, development and evaluation of AI-Game-Design assistant systems.
I'm an AI Engineer, and I like to develop systems for enhancing human design activities. My recent works combine machine learning, backend development, and data science in fields such as decision-making simulations, games, edutech, and agrotech.

Here I list some of my past and current projects. Most of them are about AI and machine learning, backend development, and game programming.
During the Omdena-Agreed Earth project, I worked on the design of a knowledge guided machine learning model to predict nitrous oxide fluxes.
During my time at Northeastern University, I worked on the design of machine learning models for supervised and unsupervised tasks, and interactive narrative design assistance. The works are part of the StudyCrafter.com plataform
During the course of my PhD, I have designed systems that incorporate AI into the game design process. Click on the figure to see a demo.
I developed a project for storing, replaying and querying events in gameplay sessions. Although the amount of events happening in a game can be pretty intense, a relational data base could handle well the write/read requests in this context.
I developed games when working at a pioneer EdTech project in Brazil. Click on the images to download the games and watch their videos.
I designed a visualization tool for a tweeter hashtag sentiment analysis and for visualizing heatmaps of game elements.
Here are some of my research papers. For a full list, check my Google Scholar profile.
